Dr. Juan F. Casillas II

Dr. Juan Casillas was born in Los Angeles and grew up immersed in the world of veterinary medicine. His father, a dedicated veterinarian, owned a hospital in East LA where young Juan spent his formative years. Surrounded by animals and taught the value of hard work from an early age, he developed a natural talent for communicating with and caring for pets. Driven by his passion, Dr. Casillas pursued a veterinary degree and distinguished himself as the youngest doctor in his graduating class at the age of 24. After gaining experience in the West Indies, he returned to Los Angeles to work alongside his father, honing his skills and earning a reputation as a highly skilled veterinarian.

For over two decades, Dr. Casillas has served his community with unwavering commitment and expertise. He is a proud family man, blessed with a beautiful wife, six children, and a grandson. His personal interests are as diverse as his professional skills, encompassing travel, fishing, driving sports cars, exercising, reading, and fine dining. Dr. Casillas also has a deep love for the Los Angeles Rams, Lakers, and LSU Tigers. Passionate about giving back, he provides high-level veterinary care at Pet Lovers Animal Hospital in Long Beach. He finds immense fulfillment in alleviating the suffering of animals and helping families resolve their pets' problems, viewing his work as both a calling and a blessing.
